Graduateland events

Native mobile app design
The big picture
Since 2015, Graduateland is a lead company for virtual career events. In 2020 and 2021, there were hosted more than 200 virtual events with the platform. During this period, all the efforts were focused on improving the product level exponentially. In summer 2021, a new product was needed: hybrid events. These would fill the gap between the virtual and physical worlds, helping the participants with the flexibility to participate from anywhere and to easily organize their attendance to get the best outcome out of them.
The scope
There are three stakeholders that are part of virtual career fairs: organizers, companies, and job seekers. But who was this project meant to focus on?
The most valuable ones: the job seekers. That’s how it was decided to create a native mobile app for them.

Product Designer
Apr 2014 - Mar 2015
The journey commenced with an open exchange of ideas during a collaborative brainstorming session, encouraging every team member to express their thoughts freely. Together with my fellow designer, we attentively listened, capturing every detail shared. Following thorough competitor research and defining the scope for the initial app version, we immersed ourselves in crafting user flows and wireframes.Over 100 sketches materialized on whiteboards, napkins, and scattered pieces of paper before transitioning into the digital realm. The transition to prototyping brought immense satisfaction, transforming abstract concepts into tangible, user-friendly interfaces. Guided by my colleague's successful testing, the concept and flows garnered approval with only minor refinements needed. The official launch unfolded in September 2021, meticulously preparing the stores and crafting compelling advertising illustrations to introduce our creation to the world.
