Graduateland redesign

Product design
The big picture
Graduateland is a Denmark-based company with an online recruiting platform. Both employers and graduates can use the platform for its services. On the platform, it is possible for graduates to create their profiles, and browse hundreds of companies. Employers can create brand awareness with company profiles, and recruit posting job ads.
The scope
This project was focused on the job seekers visiting Graduateland every day. The target group is mainly between 20-30, so active and always connected humans, who are aware of the most recent digital trends.
The scope is to redesign the home page and other platform’s elements to look fresher and more inspiring.

Product Designer
Jun 2021 - Nov 2021
It all began from inspiration research exploring the upcoming trends and a competitors’ analysis.
The redesign had as the main theme: white and space. The main objective for me was to recolour the grey-ish backgrounds to white and have more space between elements so that they can breathe. With this in my head, I started wireframing and also picking out the elements that needed to be redesigned to have a coherent experience, for example, the navigation bar, the job and event cards, and the user dashboard.

The detailed design shows an airy layout with similar elements adapting and repeating based on their functionalities.

The partial launch happened in November 2021.
